NEW ROBERT BIGGAR STORE COMES TO GLASGOW
Scotland's longest established pawnbroker, Robert Biggar, has partnered with the UK's number one instant cash provider, The Money Shop, to open a new pawnbroking store in Glasgow. Located on 254 Sauchiehall Street, the store will offer the full range of consumer financial products and services.
Chris Smith, Store Manager said: "I'm really excited about heading up the three-strong team at the new Robert Biggar store, which will help build consumer awareness of the brand.
"Both Robert Biggar and the Money Shop are members of the National Pawnbroking Association, guaranteeing customers a fast, efficient and thorough service."
"In addition to pawnbroking, the other services we will offer in store will include payday loans, ‘Gold to Cash', foreign exchange, cheque cashing, Pre-paid cards and Western Union money transfers."
Robert Biggar and the Money Shop are part of publicly listed American company, Dollar Financial and the Money Shop is a founder member of the Consumer Finance Association (CFA) and has been established on the UK high street for 14 years.
The Money Shop opened its first store in Nottingham in 1996 and now employs over 1500 people across its network, serving over 450,000 customers a year often in communities which have been vacated by traditional banks and post offices.
