A supergroup* of Elvis Presleys visited the Money Shop on Edgware Road recently to deliver a 6ft lifesize bronze statue of The King. The statue is the prized possession of businessman and Elvis fan, Sid Shaw, who has pawned the statue to help finance future musical projects.
The Elvises treated passers by and Money Shop customers to impromptu versions of some of the King's hits including blue suede shoes and hound dog. They were also raising money for the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre.
