The Money Shop opens its 400th UK store in Leamington Spa
Warwickshire-born British Touring Car racing champion Mat Jackson revved up his support to help mark the opening of short term lender, the Money Shop's, 400th UK store at Leamington Spa.
Located at 136 Parade, the new Money Shop store has launched as a result of a nationwide expansion programme which is expected to see a further 100 stores open in the next 12 months.
Money Shop staff were on hand to answer questions about the range of products and services available and celebrations included a specially commissioned 400 cake for customers to enjoy. Mat and his Ford Focus ST 2000 made a pitstop fresh from his latest racetrack victory. He is now second in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) driver standings after picking up his third race win of the season at Croft.
Nikola Thomas, Leamington Spa Store Manager, said: "I'm really excited about welcoming customers to the new store. I'll be heading up the team and we hope the celebrations will build consumer awareness of the Money Shop. It was great to see Mat for a double celebration - our 400th milestone and his big success on the racetrack."
